workouts for week of 12/04/11
On Wednesday of this week after my cereal monster attack, I declared that I was going to simmer on the exercise. Well, that didn’t totally happen. I woke up Thursday, Friday & today (Saturday) ready to move, so I went with it. I still didn’t go crazy at the gym, but it was more than the casual dog walk and yoga I had vowed to do. Oops. My goal is to respect when I am too tired to workout and utilize my energy when I have it. Part of my energy came from my most recent iTune’s purchase: Rhianna’s We Found Love. I know I am probably way behind on this music find, but I’m old. :) Either way, this song makes me want sprint, do jumping jack’s and dance all at once. Watch out world!!!

20 min on elliptical w/ arms
Treadmill HIIT
1 min at 1.0 incline at 3.9 speed
1 min at 1.0 incline at 6.0 speed
1 min at 1.0 incline at 6.5 speed
1 min at 1.0 incline at 7.0 speed
1 min at 1.0 incline at 7.5 speed
1 min at 1.0 incline at 8.0 speed
repeat the last 5 minutes at 1.5 inline
1 min at 2.0 incline at 6.0 speed
1 min at 2.0 incline at 6.5 speed
1 min at 2.0 incline at 7.0 speed
1 min at 2.0 incline at 7.5 speed
2 min at 15.o incline at 4.1 speed
30 sec at 15.0 incline at 6.2 speed (held on to rails)

jumped around in steam room for 10 min
Thursday:
60 min yoga sculpt class
30 min dog walk
Friday:
30 min dog walk
ran to and from gym = approx 8 min round trip
15 min on elliptical
15 min on treadmill w/ various sprints, jogs and walking at 15% incline. I kinda just went with when I felt energy, which usually means I put Rhianna’s We Found Love on. Good Lord that is a good song.
Saturday:
40 min dog walk
20 min on elliptical w/ out arms
15 min stairclimber
15 min plyometrics mixed w/ vinyasa yoga
10 min upper body strength training w/ free weights
10 min stretch & sit in sauna
